Alice was incredible. She was so wonderfully hands on, coming to tile store to help chose tiles, confirming our granite choice, picking the best granite fabricator, providing the great cabinet installer, giving us a reasonable time frame, working with the additional features with the cabinets, and checking installations all along the way. None of the more expensive companies seem to give this kind of service. Oh, also, the kitchen is just beautiful!

I just wanted to take a minute and thank you for your work designing my new kitchen. I’ve been cooking and baking pretty much non-stop since the kitchen was finished 1 1/2 weeks ago! I’ve had two parties, one baby shower and lots of family dinners. Tonight I’m having people over for the Jewish new year. My husband and I did a complete kitchen renovation, which included removing a wall, moving walls, a redesign of a small powder room and a laundry room. Alice worked closely with the general contractor to draw new plans to utilize all the space. Alice assisted us in finding the perfect granite, cabinetry and flooring. She also helped with every detail to make sure our appliances, hardware and lighting complemented each other. We were impressed with the performance of Alice Evans and Dynamic Kitchens and Interiors. Her design for our kitchen remodeling project was creative and exciting. Alice accompanied us to her material sources for granite and tile, which was a big help. She has very definite ideas, but was also open to our suggestions and changes. Her execution of the work and her administration of her subcontractors was excellent — punctual, efficient, thorough. She and John gave us a schedule and stuck very close to it, notifying us promptly of necessary adjustments and finishing almost a week earlier than we had expected. John handled de-construction and supervised the installation of a new dishwasher, a new downdraft range, and several new cupboards and drawers. Alice, Designers Choice cabinetry, and installer Ron made sure that older cabinets/drawers we kept would fully match the new ones in color, design & finish. In addition, and especially fine, was the installation of a new granite countertop with new sinks and incorporating the new range. We also appreciated the painstaking work by the tile installers for our backsplash. This was not an easy remodel. Bringing electrical and ventilation up to code as well as the removal of a vented range hood, a chandelier and ceiling fan required a lot of rewiring of outlets and switches. Yet John’s adept ceiling treatments allowed us to avoid a full redo of the ceiling. We are also very happy with the quality of the Designers Choice cabinetry, especially the hardware that makes the doors and drawers so much easier to operate. We love our new kitchen – it’s easier to keep clean, less cluttered and with more storage space. Altogether a great job by great people!
